From our top two choices we come to a much more affordable option in the face of the SkyTech ArchAngel gaming PC. It is one of our favorite budget setups as it has some serious power under the hood, looks stunning, and costs a fraction of what the high-end models do.
Our Verdict: If you are looking for a great affordable PC that will look stylish and have some serious gaming capabilities, then the ArchAngel is one of your best options. It comes with a white RGB case and on the inside are some of the newest components that combined can tackle most modern games at Medium to High graphics settings.
Let’s dive deeper into this review now and see what makes this computer such a popular choice among modern-day gamers.
Overview and Features
The thing that stands out the most for us is the overall affordability of this computer. Even when it is not discounted it still is quite the bargain purchase. Getting the components individually is often a cheaper substitute way of building a PC for less money but this might not be the case here.
The Titan series graphics card combined with the Ryzen 3 processor are already adding a hefty few hundred dollars to the end price. Not to mention the gorgeous box with its RGB lighting and additional things like the keyboard, mouse, and free OS you are getting.
This is why we think that this is one of those rare cases where getting the complete package pre-assembled for you is going to be cheaper than building it on your own.
Now, let’s talk a little more about these components, as some of them are far more premium than the price-tag suggests.
The processor here isn’t an intel one, as we are used to seeing in gaming PCs. Instead, Skytech Gaming have decided to go with the new Ryzen 3-series by AMD. The Ryzen-3 1200 is a four core CPU that works at 3.1 GHz and has a “Turbo Boost” mode for overclocking speeds of up to 3.4 GHz. It experiences no thermal throttling when you put pressure on it and with the cooling this PC provides, it can withstand the pressure of most new AAA games.
The RAM Memory
RAM memory is where this PC might struggle a bit. Although it is a very fast memory working at 2400MHz and is DDR4, it isn’t really enough to support more demanding games on higher frames per second. Still, if you want to add more, you can just get another 8GB stick (or 2x4GB) for not that much money. There are 2 more slots available on the motherboard for you to do so.
Pro Tip: When getting more RAM for your PC, make sure that it is of the same kind both in terms of frequency and type (DDR3, DDR4, etc.)
We love the choice of GPU in this PC. Usually, AMD processors are paired with AMD video cards, but Skytech Gaming have decided to go for an Nvidia Titan series video card in the face of the 1050 Ti. It has 4GB of memory which is actually more than the 3GB you get on a regular GTX 1060.
With the ArchAngel you will be getting a 1TB HDD only. It is worth spending a few dollars extra just to get an additional SSD for your OS and favorite games, as it will noticeably improve your PC’s performance.
The connectivity options on this PC are insane. You get 9 USB ports (5x USB 3.0 and 4x USB 2.0). You also get 1 HDMI port, 1 Display port (1.4), 1 dual-link DVI and a line in/out/mic audio jacks, as well as an Ethernet port.
This is amazing since even more expensive PCs don’t have that much connectivity options. That is the reason this computer keeps staying on top of the discussion about budget setups and gaming rigs in general.

Modern Games You Can Run
There are a lot of new games that people expect to be able to play at normal settings when getting their first gaming PC. Some of those are Fortnite, PUBG, Apex Legends, GTA V, and others. Here is how this particular computer handles all of them in terms of frames per second (on High Graphics Settings):
- Apex Legends – 65 FPS
- PUBG – 60 FPS
- Fornite – 68 FPS
- GTA V – 65 FPS
- DOOM – 95 FPS
- CS:GO – 130 FPS
Price & Additional Features
Considering that this is priced at the mid tier of gaming computers, it does an all right job of checking all the basic options. It is priced very well and when discounted it is a must-have deal. It is a bit cheaper than similar gaming computers due to the lack of SSD and an additional 8 GBs of RAM memory. Those are things that you can usually live with but will start feeling the need for in a year or two.
What helps with our case is the fact that it comes with a free Windows 10 Home Edition and free gaming keyboard and mouse. You are also getting a lifetime support by the Skytech Gaming support team, and a full 1 year warranty for your product.
If you want to get a computer that has similar characteristics but also packs an additional 8 GBs of RAM and an SSD, check out our Dell Inspiron 5680 Review.
